WELCOME BACK!

WELCOME BACK!

Oh wait. That's *me* who returned. Well whatever, it's good to be back and getting into the swing of things!

During my time in Colorado, I tried as best I could to be present and take in all the gorgeous mountains and life it holds.

JUST ASK

I also thought a ton about this idea of "Just ask!" that I've been mentioning somewhat regularly recently in my stories. I feel like we (myself included) get this idea that certain successes, businesses, relationships, whatever are only for certain people, as if those things we want are completely out of our reach and only certain people are privy to them.

I'm calling bullsh*t right now. There have been a handful of instances in the past couple months where I asked for something and was anxious about the response. But each time I just ask, it gets little easier. When people say sh*t like, "Fortune favors the bold" it's because IT'S TRUE.

Look at Blanche; only one man ever rejected her in her entire life, and do you know why?

(...well yes, it's partly because he confused Blanche with Virginia and thought for 40+ years that he slept with Blanche and that she was bad in bed, but that's not what I'm getting at here.)

She took what she wanted. If she saw something (ahem, someone) she wanted, she didn't look to anyone for permission to go for it. She made it her business to do what she wanted and for that, she has all those amazing stories. I'm not saying we all have to be as aggressive as Blanche when it comes to dating. What I AM saying is...

If you can channel your own version of Blanche Devereaux when it comes to life,
FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT IS HOLY DO IT!

In friendship and cheesecake,

H

Oh yeah, and I also launched collar pins. Check it out on Etsy!
